A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM PINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF AN UNDERGROUND REINFORCED
CONCRETE PIP~LINE ALONG ESPERANZA ROP_D FROM SrIPERIAL HIGHWAY TO ~
FAIRMONT BOULE~TARD IS TN CONFDRMANCE WITH'THE ANAHEIM
GENERAL PLAN AND WILL HAVE NO EFFECT ON THE
• ENVIRONMENT
WHEREAS, the Orange County Fiood Control District proposes to construct ~n underground
reinfarced concrete pipeline along Esperanza Road between Imperial Highway and Fairmont Boule-
vard with the westerly end ~f the pipeline to be located southeast of the intersection of Im-
perial Highway and Esperanza Road within the boundt~ries of the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Flood Control District has requested a determination that
the proposed project conforms to the Ansheim General Ylan; and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Division has revia~.red the proposed request and has determined
that the proposed pipeiine would be in conformity with the City of Anaheim storm drain plan;
and•
WHEREAS, the Government Code of the State of California, Section 65402, provides in.
part that a local agency, such as the flood control district, shall not construct a public
building or structure in any county or city,untii.'the location, purpose and exteitt of such
acti~aity has been reported upon as to conformity with the adopted general plan applicable
thereto; and
WHEREAS, the proposed construction of an undergroand reinforced storm drain has been
reviewed by the Anaheim City Planning Commisaion within the context of Section 65402 of the
California Government Code and Section 21151 of the California Public Resources Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Anaheim City Planning Commission does hereby
find that the proposed construction of an underground reinforced concrete atorm drain along
Esperanza Road between Imper3al Highway an3 Fairmont Bouleva.rd is in confoxmance with the City~s
adopted General Plan and will have no significant effect on the environment,
