PC73-249 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION ~ 1434 CgE ENIEDAHEIM THAT PETITION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City oE Anaheim did receive a verified Petition for Con- ditional Use Pecmit from CHARLES ANP PATSY CUNDIFF, 314 East lioover, Orange, California 92667, Owners; LARRY A. BIVENS, 1324 East Chapman Avenue, Orange, California 92666, Agent of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Califor- nia, described as Lot 14 in Block 36 of the Yorba Linda Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in book 5, pages 17 and 18 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, Califo.rnia. Excepting therefrom the Northerly 143.52 feet thereof. Also excepting therefrom the Southerly 180 feet thereof, measured from the center line of Walnut Street ; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Aneheim on November 26, 1973 at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice o° said public heacing having been duly given as cequiced by lew and in accordance with the provisions of tlie Anaheim Municipal code, Chapter 18.64, to hear and consider evidence for and against seid proposed conditionel use and to invest~gate and make findings and recommendations in connection therewith; und WHEREAS, said Commission, aEter due inspection, investigation, and study made by itself and in its be- hal[, and after due consideret'son of ell evidence and reports offeced et seid hearing, does find and determine the following facts: 1. That the pcoposed use is properly one far whicS a Conditional Use Permit is authorized by Code Section 18.52.050(a), to establish a recteational vehicle storage yard and caretaker's mobile- home with waivers of: a. SECTION 18.52.020 - Permitted buildings strucCures and uses. (Mobilehome not permitted; mobilehome propor,:~d) b. SECTION 18.52.060(4-b) - Parking for outdoor uses. (63 spaces required; 12 seaces propc;sed) 2'. That ennexation of sub~ect property :tas been initiated by the petitioner and is zoned County M1 ~iith a re~olution of intent t~ City of Anaheim M-1 and the Scenic Corri- dor (SC) Overlay Zone. 3. TliaC the proposed use would be contrary to the intent and projections as estab- lished in the Scenic Corridor Overlay (SC) 'Lone, which prohibits mobilehome parks ar,d auto and truck storage. 4. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Aneheim City Planning Commission does hereby deny subJect Petition for Conditionel Use Pemut on the basis of the aforementioned findings.
