RESOLUTION NO. 7lR-l
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM GRANTING VARIANCE NO. 2220.
WHEREAS, after a request for variance by Sam Domino,
owner; Al Stoval, agent was received, a public hearing before
the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim was held upon
due and proper notice as a result of which Variance No. 2220
was denied in whole or in part, covering the following described
property:
The North 200.00 feet of the Southeast Quarter of the
Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section
22, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San
Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, as per Map recorded in
Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of
the County Recorder of said County.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the northerly 86 feet of the easterly
410 feet..
WHEREAS, thereafter, within the time prescribed by
law an interested party or the City Council on its own motion
caused the review of said Planning Commission action at a public
hearing noticed and held as prescribed by law and as a result
thereof the City Council does hereby make the following findings:
1. That there are special circumstances applicable to
the property, including size, shape, topography,
location or surroundings, which do not apply to
other property under identical zoning classifica-
tion in the vicinity.
2. That, because of special circumstances shown in
(1) above, strict application of the zoning code
deprives the property of privileges "enjoyed by
other property under identical zoning classifica-
tion in the vicinity.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim, that said variance be granted to pe~it
alteration of an existing non-conforming, free-standing sign to
permit a maximum area of 486 square feet, subject to the follow-
ing conditions:
1. That adequate clearance of existing electrical lines
shall be provided as required by the Electrical
Division, Department of Public utilities and the
State of California - GO-95.
2. Subject property shall be developed substantially
in accordance with plans and specifications on
file with the City of Anaheim marked Exhibits Nos.
1 and 2, Revision No.1.
3. That Conditions Nos. land 2, above mentioned, shall
be complied with prior to final building and zoning
inspections.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED "t:aat tlle city Council hereby
reserves the rigilt .to revoke SUC:i1 variance permit for good cause
or failure of said owner, his heirs, successors or assigns to
comply with the 1'~1alleim l.iunicii:>al Code and regulations and the
conditions herein. Said variance is granted for the term pre-
scrined by the ~la:1eirn :'iunicipal Code unless otherwise specifieG.
