DE FALCO AND ASSOCIATES~ 1720 West La Palma, "B"~ e fornia 92801, Agent of certain real property situared~in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as dascribed in Exhibit A attached hereto and referred to herein as though set forth in full ; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold e public hearing et the City Hell in the City of Anaheim on February 21, 1973, et 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing having been duly given es requiced by law and in accordance with the pcovisions of the Anaheim Municipal code, Chapter 18.64, to hear ana consider evidence for and against said proposed conditionel use and to investigate and maka findings and recommendations in connection therewith; and WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspectioa, investigetion, and study made by itself and in its br half, and after due consideration of all evidence and roports ofEeced ct said heeeing, does find and determine tne following facts: 1. (50 feet required; 20 feet proposed) 2. That the proposed use would be a blight in this area of highrise hotels and other high quality commercial-recreation developrrent. 3. That the view ~f the propaoed use from adjoining hotels would be undesirable. 4. That this particular part of the commercial-recreation area does not lend its~lf to the proposed type of use. ~ 5. That although the proposal is a desirable one, it is proposed to be located in l-he wrong area. 6. That the proposed use will adversely affect the adjoining land uses and the growth and development of the area in which it is ~roposed to be located. 7. ';hat one person appeared representing owners of an adjoining high rise hotel in opposition Co the proposed use.
