recommendations in connection therewith; end
WHEREAS, said Commission, aEter due inspection, investigation, and study made by itselE and in its ko-
half, and efter due consideretion oE all evidence end reports o[tered et said heering, does find end determine the
following fects:
1, That the proposed use is properly one for whlch a Conditional Use Permit is outhorized by Code Sect4tr~
18.64.020(3-f) to wit: establish two billboards having areas of 700 and 300 square fert
with waiver of:

permitted; 700 square feet and 300 squaze teet
proposed) (133% in excess of maximum code require-
ment)
2, That the Anaheim Municipal Code provides for tdequate signing with billboarda
of 300 square feet permitted and no evidence of hardahip was submitted to warrant favor-
able consideration of a sign more than twice that permitted by Code.
3. That approval of the petition ~ould estab~ish an undesirable precedent for
sxmt~ar requests at interaections where bil3,boards err permitted, which would create
a ciutfiared appearance and distracting views for motoritsts on heavily traveled arterials.
4. 'That the proposed uae will adversely effect the adjoining land uses and the
growth and development of the area in which it is propoecd to be located,
5. That t`~e pro~sssed use will be detrimental to the peace, health, safety, and
general welfare of the Ci~.izens oE the City of Anaheim.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT P.EPORT FINDING:
Tt~at the Planning Cocmnisaion finds and determines that the proposal would have no aigni-
ficanC em;ironmental impact and, therefore, recus~miends to the City Council that Exemption
Declaration Status be granted.
