A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING lli~D DETEm~INING THAT A
CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GWUiTED IN A
CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
i~EREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution
reconunending denial of a change in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter luentioned and describeci, after having fixed a
time and place for ~~e holding of a public hearing thereon in
the rtlanner ana. as prescrinea. in 'i'i tle 18 of tIle Anaheim Iflunicipal
Code, and after having duly held and conducted such public hear-
ing to consider said proposed change of zone or zones, and after
having received evideace and reports from persons interested
tllerein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following
tl1e hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce by
formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its opinions
and reasons for recommending Cienial of said proposed change in the
boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and
described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon
fix the 20th day of April, 1971, and continued to 1.lay 18, 1971,
as the time and the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City
of Anaheim as tl1e place for a public hearing upon said proposed
change of zone or zones and did give notice thereof in the manner
and as provided in said Title 18 of the Ananeim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
llearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reoorts and did thereuoon
consider the recommendations of the City Planning Co~~ission: and
WHEREAS, tlle City Council does find and determine that
the property and area proposed to be changed from the zone or
zones in which it is now situated to a different zone, as herein-
after set forth, is more suitable for the zone or zones in which
it is now incorporated and that a change of zone should not be
granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follows:
All that certain land situated in the State of California,
County of Orange, City of Anaheim, described as follows:
That portion of the Southwest auarter of the Southeast
quarter of Section 13, Township 4 South, Range 10 West
in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana shown as Parcel
IIAI. and the East 20 feet of Sunkist Street adjoining said
Parcel "Ai; on the tliap filed in Book 22, page 20 of Parcel
~aps in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County,
California.

remain in R-A, AGRICULTURAL ZONE in which it is now incorporated,
and that the reclassification to R-3, MULTIPLE-F~~ILY P~SIDENTIAL
ZONE be denied, as recommended by the City Planning Commission.
