A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM C17Y PLANNING COMMISSIOPI FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT TtiE PROPOSED BRQADI•fAY STORM DRAIN PROJECT IS IN
CONFORMANCE WI7H THE CITY'S ADOPTED GENERAL PLAN AND TFlAT IT
CONCURS WITH AN FNVIRONMENTAL IMPACT NEGATIVE DECLARATIOPI.
WHEREAS, the Orange County Environmental Management Agency proposes to
construct an underground re~:nforesd concrete conduit, identified as Droadway Storm
Drain Phase i from the City's existing system in Broadway at Gilbert Street through
Brookhurst Street, and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Environmental Management Agency issued en
environmental impact negative declaration on August 18, 1975, for the proposed
project; and
WHEREAS, the Government Code of the Sta2e of California, Section 65402,
provides, in part, that a local agency shall not acquire real property nor dispose of
any real property, nor construct a public building or structure in any county or
city, until the location, purpose and extent of such activity has been reported upon
as to conformity with the adopted general plan applicable thereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOIVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission
does hereby find and determine that the proposed drainage improvements identified as
the Broadway Storm Drain ProJect, are in conformity with the City of Anaheim's
adopted General Plan, and that said Commission concurs with the issuance of the
environmental impact negative declaration in connection with said project.
THE rOREG0ING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this lOth day of
November, 1975.
