A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAfiEIM CITY PLIUJNING COMMISSION FIPIDING APlD
DETERMIPIING THAT THE PROPOSED ORANGE COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT
FACILITY N0. E01 (RIVERDALE REST STOP) IS IN CONFORMANCE WITN TNE
C1TY'S ADOPTEU GENERAL PLAN AND Tt~P.T IT CONCURS WITH AN
EP~VIR~NMEPlTAL IMPACT NEGATIVE DECLARATIOPJ.
WHEREAS, the Orange County Flood Control District proposes to construct a
recreaticn trails rest stop and neighborhood mini-park, identified as Facility IJo.
E01, at the Santa Ana River and Riverside Freeway; and
WHEREAS, the Orai~9~ Cou~ty Environmental Management Agency issued an
environmental impact negative declaration on September 7, 1975, for the proposed
proJect; and
WHEREAS, the Government Code of the S:s!:~ of California, Section 65402,
provides, in part, that a local agency such as the flood control district shall not
acquire real property nor dispose of any real preperty, ncr construct a publi~
building or structure in any county or city, until the location, purpose and extent
of such activity has been reported upon as to conformity with the adopted general
plan applicable thereto.
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED that [he Anaheim City Planning Commtssion
does hereby find and determine that the proposed rest stop and park identified as
Factlity Na, E01 (Riverdale Rest Stop)~ are in conformity with the City of Anaheim's
adopted General Plan, and that said Commission concurs with the issuance of the
environmental impact negative declaration in connection with said pro]ect.
