A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN &~NDMENT TO AGREEMENT e.L.D. NO. 10833
WITH THE LOS AliGELES AND SALT LAKE RAILROAD
COMPANY AND UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR 1L~D CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
SAID AG~NT.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim and the Los Angeles and
Salt Lake Railroad Company and its Lessee, Union Pacific Railroad
Company, have entered into an agreement dated November 30, 1951,
which is referred to as e.L.D. No. 10833, giving the City the.
right to construct, maintain and operate certain power lines over
the property of the Railroad; and
WHEREAS, said agreement was amended to allow for the
construction of additional lines, removal of certain of the Rail-
road's property from said agreement, and to extend the term of
said agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City and the Railroad now des.ire to amend
said agreement, e.L.D. No. 10833, to allow the City to make
certain changes in its power line system.
i.~OW, rrHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the terms and
conditions of an amendment to agreement referred to as e.L.D. No.
10833-7 be, and the same are hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of the City
of Anaheim.
