P~75-27 A RESOLUTION OF THE C1TY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY.OF ANAHEIM THAT PETITiON FOR RECLASSIFICATION N0. 74"~5-25 gg pppROVED WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did i n i t i ate a ver i f i ed Pet i t i on for Reclassification on certain real property situated in the County of Orange, State of California, as described in Exhibit "A" attached hc.reto ar,d referred to herein as though set forth ~ ~i~n+ ful 1 ; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing et the City Hall in the City o£ Anaheim on February 3, 1975, at 1:30o'clock P.M. notice of said public hearing havin~ been duly given as cey~:red by law and in accordance with the provisions offhe Anaheim Municipel Code, Chepter 18A3, to hear and consider evidence for end against said pioposed reclassiEication and to investigete and make findings and recommendetions in connection therewith; end WHEREAS, said Commissian, after due inspection, investigetion, and study mede by itself and ia its behalf, and efter dua consideration of all evidence end rep~rts ofEeced et said hearing, does find end determine the following facts: 1. Thatthe Anaheim City Planning Commission proposes reclassification of the subject property from the COUNTY OF OFANGE Rl (SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT to the CITY OF ANANEIM RS-7200 (RESIDENTIAL, SINGLE-FAMILY) ZONE. 2. That the proposed reclassification is in conformance with the Anaheim General Pizn. 3, That the proposed reclassification would establish the City of Anaheim zone on the subject property most similar to the current Orange County zoning. 4, That the subject property is currently pending annexation to the City of Anaheim under the Greenwich Annexation and the Greenwich No. 2 Annexation. 5. That the pcoposed reclassification oE subject property is necessary nnd/or desirable torthe orderly end pro- per de!~eloprtient of the community. 6. That the pcoposed reclessification of subject property does properly relate to the zones end their permitted uses locelly established in close proximity to subject property and to the zones end their permitted uses generally esteb- lished tiicoughout the community. %. That no one indicated their presence at said public hearing in opposition, and no correspondence was .received in opposition to subject petition. ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPOP,T FINDING: That the Director of Development Services has determined that the proposed acitvity falls within the definition of Section 3.01, Class 1 of the City of Anaheim Guidelines to the Requirements for an Environmental Impact Report and is, therefore, categorically exempt from the requirement to file an EIR. g-p -1- RESOWTION N0. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT~RESOLVED that the Aneheim Clty Plenni~ng Commission does he:eby cecommend to the City CounciS of the City of Anaheim that gubjecf Petition for Reclassi~ication be approved and, by so doing, that Title 18-Zoning of the Anahelm Municipel Codx be emended to exclude the nbove described property from the COUNTY OF ORANGE Rl (SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT and to incorporate said described property into the RS-7200 (RESIDENTIAL, SINGLE-FAMILY) ZONE uoon.the foilowing conditions which are hereby found to be a necessary prerequisite to the proposed use of subject property in order to preserve the safety and general welfare of the Citizens of the City of Anaheim: l. That these reclassification proceedings are granted subject to completion of annexation of subject property to the City of Anaheim.
