A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM CITY PIANNINC ~COMMISSION FINDING
AND DETERMINING THAT THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT OF THE PLACENTIA
RETARDING BASIN AND CARBON CREEK CHANNEL THROUGH STATF COLLEGE
BOULEVARR TO PLACENTIA AVENUE BY THE ORANGE LOUNTY FLOOD CONTROL
DISTRICT IS IN CONFORMANCE WITH THE CITY'S ADOPTED GENERAL PLAN.
WHEREAS, the Orange County Flood Control District proposes the improvement
of the Placentia Retarding Basin and Carbon Creek Channel through State College
Boulevard to Placentia Avenue, partly withtn the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the Government Code of the State of California, 5ection 65402, provides
in part that a local agency such as the Flood Control District shall not acquire
real property nor dispose of any real property, nor construct a public building or
structure in any county or city, until the location, purpose and extent of such
activity has been reported upon as to conformity with the adopted general plan
applicable thereto; and
WHEREAS, the proposed project of the Orange County Fiuoii Con~~ol District has
been reviewed by the Anaheim City Planning Commission within the context of Section
65402 of the California Government Code.•
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commissio~ does
hereby find that the proposed flood control and drainag= improvements within the
City of Anaheim are in conformance with the City of Anaheim's adopted General Plan.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this 14th day of April,
1975.
