RESOLUTION N0. PC75-84
A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNlN6 COMMISSION FINDING
AND DETERMINING THAT THE PROPOSED SALE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY BY
THE ORANGE COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT IS IN CONFORMANCE WITH
THE CITY'S ADOPTED GENERAL PLAN.
WHEREAS, the Orange County Flood Control District is the fee owner of
Parcel No. 4a06,1 of the Carbon Creek Channel located between the P~cific
Electric Railway and Knott Avenue in the City of Anaheim, which parcel is
no longer required by the District for flood control purposes; and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Flood Control District proposes to declare
said Parcel No. 4a06.1 surplus and offer it for sale; and
WHEREAS, the Government Code of the State of California, Section 65402,
provides in part that a local agency such as the Flaod Control District shall
not acquire real property ~or dispose of any real property, nor construct a
public building or structure in any county or city, until the location, purpose
and extent of such activity has been reported upon as to confonnity with the
adopted general plan applicable thereto;,and
WHEREAS, the proposed sale of satd Parcel No. 4a06.1 has been reviewed by
the Anaheim City Planning Commis_ton in accordance with Section 65402 of the
California Government Code,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE iT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission
does hereby find that the proposed sale of said Parcel No, 4a06.1 ~s in con-
formance with the City of Anaheim's adopted General Plan.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me thts 14th day of
