WHEftEAS, the Anaheim City Planning Commission did initiate a verified Petition for Reclassification for certain real property situated in the County of Orange, State of California described as: PARCEL 1: The North half of the East quarter of the Northeast quarter o£ tFe ilorthwest quarter nf Sect:lon 24, Township 4 South, Range 10 1•:est, in the Rancho Sar_ Juan Ca~on de Santa Ana, as shown on a Tiap recorded in IIno}; 51, page 10 of :iiscellaneous Maps, records o.f Orange Couttty, California. ' Excepting therefrem the Easterly 45.00 feet thereof. Also Excepting theref.rom the Nortlierly 53.00 feet thereof. Also excepting theref:om that portion described as Parcel 110.1 in tl~e deed to the County of Orange recorded September 8, 1972 in book 10315, page 641 of ~Jfficial Fecords nf said Orange Co~snCy. WHEREAS, the City Planning Commisslon did hold a public hearirg at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on June 7, 1976~ at 1:30 p.m., notice of said nu~~lic hearing havin9 been duly given as required by law a~d in accordance with the provisions ofi the Anaheim Municipa) Code, Chapter 1t3.03, to hear and consi~fer evidence for and against said praposed reclassification and to investigate and make findings and recommendatlons in connection there~ai*_?~; and WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and stu~ly madE by itself and in its behalf, and after due consi~ieration of a)1 evidence and reports offered at said hearing, does find and determine the following facts: 1, That the Anahrsim Ci~y Planning Comriission proposes a r~:classifieation of the above-Jescribed property, frora -:he COUNTY OF ORAPlGE A~ (GENERAL AGRICULTURAL) DISTRICT to the CITY OF ANAfIEIM RS-A-43,~00 (RF.SIDE~JTIAL/AGRICULTURAL) ZONE. 2. That the Anaheim General ?lan, a~t amended, desig~ates subJect property for medium-density resident1al land use. 3. That the proposad reclassification of sub)ect property is necessary and/or desirable for the orderly and proper development of the community. 4. Tfiat the proposed reclassifPcation of subJect property does properly relate to the zones and tF~eir permitted uses iocally established in close proxtmity to subJect property and to the zones and their permitted uses generally establisheci throughout the community. 5. That no ~~e indlcated their presence at said public hearing in oppos~tion; and no correspondence was receiv~d in opposition to sub;ler.t petition. RESOLUTION N0, PC76-115 ~ ~ EtJVIRONMENTAL iMPACT REP~RT FItIDiNG: That the Anaheim City Planning Commission does hereby recommend to the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the subJect proJect be exempt fr~m the requirement to prepare an environmental impact report, nursuant to the provisions of the California Environmental Qualtty Act. NOW, THEREFOkE, BE IT RC•SOLVED that the Anahelm City Planni~g Commission does hereby recommend to the City Council of the City af Anaheim that subject Petition for Reclasstfication be approved and, by so doin~, that Title tQ-Zoning of the Anaheim 14unicipal Code be amended to exclude thN above-described property from the COUNTY OF ORAN(;E A1 (GENERAL AGRICULTURAL) D~STRICT and to incorporate sai~l described property into the C17Y OF AtJAHEIM RS-A-43,~~~ (RESIDF.~JTIAL/A~~RICI!LTII?A!.) ZO~IE upon Yhe following condition which is hereby found to be a necessary prerequisite to the proposed use of subJect property in order to preserve the safety and general welfare of the Citizens of the City of Anaheim: 1. That these reclassification proceedings are grante~l suhJect to completion of annexation ef subJect property to the City of Anaheim.
