A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIPI CITY PLANtviC:S COMMISSION
REPORTING ON THE PROPOSED FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE
REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT ALPHA
AND RECOMMENDING THAT THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVE AND
ADOPT SAID PROPOSED AMENDMENT.
WHEREfiS, pursuant to Sections 33453 and 33458 of the California
Community Redevelopment Law, the Redevelopment Agency of,the City of Anaheim
submitted the proposed First Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for
Redevelopment Project Alpha to the Planning Commission for its report and
recommendation concerning said proposed Amendment; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to SecYion 65402 of the California Planning
and Zoning Law, the Redevelopment Agency also submitted the prooosed First
Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan to the Planning Commission for its
report as to conformity with the Anaheim General Plan; and
WNEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed said
proposed Amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Anaheim City Planning
Commission as follows:
l. Tho Planning Commission recommends to the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that the subject project area amendrnent be exempt from the
req:~irement to prepare an environmental impact report, pursiiant to the
provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act.
2. The Planning Commission reports Lhat the proposed First Amendment
to the Redevelopment Plan for RedevelopmenY {>roject Alpha is in
conformity with the Anaheim General Plan.
3, The Planning Commission recommends that the City Council approve
and adopt said proposed First Amendn,en*_ to the Redevelopment Plan.
