A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COmiCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING AND DIRECT-
ING THE f~YOR AND CITY CLEP~ TO EXECUTE
THAT CERTAIN AGREEr-mNT WITH THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA (BEACH BOULEVARD Al~D ORANGE
AVENUE)
WHEREAS, in connection with the construction of a
storm drainage system and the widening of the northbound lane
of Beach Boulevard by the state of California, Division of High-
ways, a Cooperative Agreement has been submitted to the City of
Anahe~ setting forth a sharing of responsibilities in connec-
tion therewith; and
WHEREAS, because of the time set for the letting of
contracts to accomplish the work, the timing for the execution
of the aforementioned contract is critiCal; and
\iHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the best
interests of the City to execute said Cooperative Agreement
immediately upon its return from the State of California, subject
only to the approval of the Office of the City Attorney.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT l~SOLVED by the city Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they
are hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the
City of Anahe~ that certain cooperative Agreement designated
as District Agreement No. 2732 as the same has been approved by
the Office of the city Attorney.
THE FOP~GOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 13th day of April, 1971.
