Of LAND IN ANAHEIN HILLS IS It7 CONFORMANCE WITH THE
f,ENERAL PLAN OF Tf1E CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHFREAS, the County of Orange ts consldering the acceptance of a proposed
grant ~f easement for open space purposes over approxlmately 1~0 acrr.s of land in the
Anahelm Hlils area; and
WNEREAS, the ~overnment Code of the 5tate of ~:a114orniA; Section 654n2,
provides in part that a local agency such rs the County ~f Orange shall not acquire
reai pr~perty nor disp~se of i•eal property, nor construct a puhlic building or
structure In any county or city. until the location~ purpose. and extent of such
activlty has been reported upon as to conf~rmity wlth the adopted general plan
applicable thereto; and
WHEREAS~ the proposed opr.r space easements acquisttlons have been reviewed
by the Anahelm f,ity Planntng Commission in accordance with Section f~54(12 of the
Government Code.
NQW THEREFORE 9f IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim Ctty P1ann(ng Commission d~~es
hereby find that the acceptance by the County af Orange of the grant of ~pen sp+3ce
easenents ln the locatlons proposed is In conPormance with the Clty's adopted
general plan, and thtit said project conforms t~ the requTrements for the filing of a
negative dectaratlon frcxn the requlrement to prepare an env(ronmenta) lnpact report,
pursuant t~ the provlsiens o" the Californla Envirpnmental O.uality Act.
