WNEREAS, the Ctty Councit of tne City of Anaheim did adopt the Anaheim General Plan by Resolution P7o. 69R-6,~4, showing the general description and extent of land uses withtn the City and indicating the present belief of the Councll as to possible future development and redevelopment of land within the City; and W1IEREAS~ pursuant to requests from the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency and property owners for General Plan study, the Anaheim City Planning Commission directed City staff to prepare a Genere) Plan Ame~dment for AREA I- Center City (a 2$-block area in downtown A~ahetm, being a portion of the adopted Anaheim Redevetopment ProJect Alpha and AREA II - Orangewood Avenue and Clementine Street; and WIIEREAS, the study areas for consideration tn the General Plan Amendment are described as follows: AREA I A RECTA~~GULARLY-SIIAPf.D AREI', OF APPROXIMATELY 200 ACRFS ~ENFR/1LLY BOUNOED BY IIARBOR BOULEVIIRD ON THE WEST~ CYPRESS STREET ON THE NbRTH, EAST STREET ON THE EAST. That the owner(s) of sub]act property shall deed to the City of Anaheim a strip of land 32 feet in width from the centerline of Lhe street along Grand AvPnue and a strip of land 30 feet in width from the centerline of the street along fiardincl Drive for street widening purposes. 2. That subJect property shall be developed substantially in accordance with plans and specifications on file with the City of Anaheim marked Exhibit Nos. 1 through 7; provided, however, that the existing shed adJacent to the scvtheast property line on Lot No. 8 shall be removed, relocated or reconstructed in compliance with the setback requirements of the underlying zone a~d that only one driveway wi11 be constructed to the ad]acent public street from each lot., 9.
