A RES~LUTION OF THE AP~AHEIM CITY PLANNING CONMISSION
R,E~ORTING ON THE PROPOSED SECOND At4ENDMEN`i TO THE
REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT ALPHA,
AS CHANGED~ AND RECOMMENQING THAT THE CITY COUNCIL
APPROVE AND ADOPT SAID PROPOSED AMENDMENT AN6
FiNDING THAT TfiE DRAFT SUBSEQUENT EIR N0. 189 IS IN
COMPLIANCE WITH THE CEQA of 1970.
WHEREAS~ pursuant to Secttons 33453 and 33458 of the California Community
Redevelopment Law, the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency submltted the proposed Second
Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment ProJect Alpha, as changed, to
gether with the Draft Subsequent Environmental Impact Report No, 189 for the proposed
Amendment, to the Planning Commission for lts report and recommendation concerning saTd
proposed Amandment; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 65402 of the Catifornia PlannTng and Zoning Law,
the Redevelopment Agency also submitted said proposed Amendment ta the Planning
Commtsstor. for tts r~p~rt as to conformity with the Anaheim General Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commisslon has reviewed and considered the information
contained in the Draft Subsequent [nvironmental Impact Repoi•t at a duly scheduled
meeting; and
WHERE•AS, the PPa~ning CommTssion has revlewed and considered satd proposed
Amendment.
NOW, TNEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEU by the Anaheim City Planning Commission as
fol toti~s:
1. 7hat the Planning Commisslon finds that the Draft Subsequent
Environmental Impect Report No. 189 is in compliance with the Caltfornia Environmental
Quality Act of 1970;
2. That the Planning Commisslon reports that the proposed Second Amendment
to the Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment ProJect Alpha, as changed, is in conformity
with the Anaheim General Plan;
3, That the Planning Commissian recommends that the City Council approve and
adopt said proposed Second Amendme~st to the Redevelopment Plan, as changed; and
4, That the Secretary of the Planning Commisslon is he~eby authorized and
directed to fite this report and recommendation wTth the Anaheim Redevelopment.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this 17'th day of
November, 1976.
