WHEREAS, the City Planni~g Commission did schedule a oublic hearin~l at the
City flall in the City of Anaheim on February 2, 1976, at 1:30 o.m „ m~tice of said
public hearing having been duly ~iven as requ9red by law and in accordance r~ith the
provisions of the Anaheim :4unicinal Code, CP~apter lII.Q3, to hea~ and consider
evidence for and against said proposed conditional use and to investi~ate and make
findings and recommendations in conr~ct9on tlierewith; said public hearin~ havinq been
cantinued to the Planning Commission meeting of February 1f3, 1976; and
41NEREAS, said Commission, after clue insnection, investigation and study made
by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and renorts
offered at said hearing, does find and determinc the follo~•~inq facts:
1. That the propnsed use is pronerly one for which a conrlitional use
permit is authorized by Code Section 18.48.050.22Q, to Evit: permit a helistoo in the
CR (COMI4ERCIAL RECREATIOtJ) ZO~IE.
2. That the proposed location is deter~ined to be inappropriate `nr the
proposed use due to the proposed use being incomoatible ~~ith the sur~~oundin~ land
uses and buildings, and due to a lack of sufficient radius for operatin~ safety in
ttre immediate area of tlie proposed location.
3. That the proposed use will adversely affect the ad3oining land uses and
tlie gr~owth and development of the area in which it is nronosed to be located.
4. That the size anr~ shape of the site proposed for the use is rot
adequate to allor~ the full development uf the proposed use in a r~anner not
detrimental to the particular area nor to the peace. heaith, safety, and neneral
welfare of the Citizens of the City of Anaheim.
5. That the granting of the Conditional Use Permit will be detrimental to
the peace, health, safety, and general welfare of the Citizens of the City of
Anaheim.
6. That two (2) persons appeared at said public hearin!1 in opposition,
representing hlelodyland; and no correspondence was received in opposition to sub.ject
petition.
