A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAIIEIM CfTY PLAfJ!IING COMMISSI0~1
FINDIIJG AND DETEf;MINI~~~ THAT THE PROPOSED DISPOSITION
OF SURPLUS PROPERTY BY TNE ORANGE COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT
IS IN CONFORMAIJCE 1J17H THE CITY OF APIAHEIM'S ADOPTED GENERAL PLAN.
WtIEREAS, the County of Oran~e owns a parcel of land known as La Palma Avenue
Surplus Parcel No. P.M.544-3 located adjacent to La Palma Avenue at the northerly
side of Yorba Park in the City oF Anaheim, a~hich is extess to the County's needs; and
V;HEREAS, the County of Orange proposes to declare said parcel surplus anef
dispose of same in accordance with existiny regulations for the disposition of
surplus real property; and ~
blHEREAS, the Government Code of thc State of Californta, Section E5402,
provides in part that a county shall not acquire real nraperty nor dispose of any
real property, nor construct a public building or structure in another county or
viithin the corporate limits of a city, until the loca:ion, purpose and extent of such
activity has been reported upon as to confornity v:ith the adopted general plan
applicable thereto; and
~1HEREAS, ••_he proposed disposition of surplus real orope.rty has been reviewed
by the Anaheim City Planning Comr~ission in accordance +ait!~ Section 65402 of the
California ,overnment Code.
tJOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESf1LVED that t!~e Anaheim City Pianning Commission
does hereby find and deternine that the proposed ~lisposition of surplus real
property by the County of Oran~e is in conformance aiit.". the City of Anaheim's adopted
General Plan; and, further, that the Planning Commission concurs with the filing of
an c:nvironmental impact negative declaration in connection with said proposal.
BE IT FURTtiER RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission does hereby
recommend that the subject property be zoned RS-5000 for developmental purposes, wher.
appropriate to do so.
