A RESOLUTION OF TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF Al-JAHEII\"! DENYING CONDITI01'-IAL USE
PERr.1IT NO. 1221
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did receive a request for a conditional use permit from
VICKI NELSON, OWner; PERLIN-BUGGIO ENGINEERS, Agent, to establish
an automatic car wash with accessory gasoline sales on the follow-
ing described property:
That portion of Lot 4 of the Anaheim Extension as
shown on a map of survey by William Hamel, a copy
of which is shown in Book 3, pages 162 to 164 in-
clusive of Los Angeles County Maps in the Office of
the County Recorder of Orange County, California,
described as follows:
Beginning at the most Southerly corner of the land
described in deed to Comet, Inc., recorded September 27,
1965, in Book 7680, page 168, Official Records; thence
North 150 24' 15 H vJest along the Southwesterly line of
said land to Comet, Inc., 175.00 feet to the intersec-
tion of said line with a line parallel with and distant
:dorthwesterly 175.00 feet, lueasured at right angles from
tile center line of Center Street, as said center line is
shown on a I:lap filed in Book 28, page 22 of Record of
Surveys in the Office of the County Recorder in Orange
County, California; thence South 740 371 25H West along
said parallel line 150.00 feet to the Northeasterly line
of East Street, 66.00 feet in width; thence South 150
24' 1St; ~ast along said l~ortheasterly line 175.00 feet
to said center line of Center Street; thence North 740
37' 25~~ East along said center line 150.00 feet to the
point of beginning.
AND vrri~REAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a
public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon
said request on February 8 I 19~, notices of which said
public hearing were duly giv'en as required by law and the pro-
visions of Ti tIe 18, Chapter 18. 76 of 'the Anaheirn Municipal Code;
and

tigation and st.udias niaaQ by itself and in its behalf and after
due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said
~earing, did adopt its Resolution Do. PC 71-15

of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon
said conditional use permit, and notices of such public hearing
were duly given as required by law and the provislons of Title
18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim MUnicipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity.
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports; and
WHE.REAS, the City Council does find, after careful
consideration of the recommendations of the City. Planning
Commission and all evidence and reports offered at said bearing,
that Conditional Use Permit No. 1221 should be denied.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commis-
sion gr~ltinq Conditional Use Permit No. 1221 be, and the
same 18 hereby reversed , and tbat the request of VICKI NELSON,
i)\tlner i PE:r;.~Ii-J.-BUGGIO, :':..gent, to establish an automatic car wash
\vitl1 accessory gasoline sales on the hereinaDove described property
is denied.
