exception from thc land descrlhed In a Deed ~f Trust, recarded October 31, 1972
in book 10403, page 921 of Officlal Records, alt being a part of Tract 81~i, as
shown on a Map recorded In book 339r Pr9es 41 through 45 lncluslve, of
Mis~ellaneous Maps, records of said Orsnge Lounty, Callfornta.
WHEREAS, [he Lity Fia~ning Commisslon did hold a public hearing at the Clty
Hall In the L(ty of Anahelm on January 31, 1977, at 1:30 P.m „ noctce of said public
hearing having been duly given as requircd by law and in accardance with the
provislons of the Anahelm Nuniclpal Code, Chapter 18.Q3, to hear and consider
evldence Tor and sgainst said proposed reclassificatlon and to investtgate and makc
findings a~d recortmendations in conn~ction thierewith; and
uHEREAS, sa{d Commission, after due inspectlon, Investlgatlon and study made
by itself and In its behalf, and after due consideration of all evldence and reports
offsred at said hearing, uoes find and determine the following facts:
1. That the Anaheim City Planning Lommission proposes a reclassificatlon
of zoning on ihe abovc-descrlbed property, from the RM-2400(SC) (RESIdENTIAL,
MUL7IPLE-FN1IlY - SCENIL CORRIDOR OVE~LRY) ZONE to the R5-5000(SC) (Rc51pENTIAI,
SINGLE-FAMILY - SCEMIC CORRiDOR OVERLAY) ZONE.
2. Tha[ the Anaheim ;eneral Plan designates [he subject proper[y for low-
medlum denslty resldentlal land uses; and the subject propcr[y is also wlthin [he
Scenic forridor Overlay Zone.
3. That the proposed reclasslftcatlon of subJect aroperty 15 necessary
and/or desirahle for [he orderly and proper development of the ca.~+unfty.
4. That the proposed reclassiflcation of subJect property does properly
relate to the zones and their permltted uses locally establ(shed in ciose proximity
to subJect property and [n the zones and thelr permitted uses generally established
th~oughout the community.
5. Tha[ no one lndlcated thefr presente at sald public hearing (n
opposiL'ion; and that no correspondence was received !n opposf2lon to the subJect
pe[itlon.

Commisslon doas hereby recommend to the Ctty Council of the C(ty ot Anahelm tha[ e
neg~tivo decloretlon from the requlrements to prepare en environreental Impect report
b¢ approved for the subJect proJect, pursuant to the provislons of thc Cailforr.la
Environmental Quslity Act.

does hereby recommend ta the City Councll of ti+a Ci:y of Anaheim that subjer.t
Petitlon for Reclasslflcatlon be approved and, by so doing, that Title 18-Zoning of
the Anaheim Munlcipa) Code be amended to exclude Lhe above-described proper[y fror;;
the RM-2400(SC) (RESIDENTlAL, NULTIPLE-FAMILY - SCENIC CORRIDOR OVERLAY) ZONE and to
incorporate sald descrlbed property into tfie RS-506~(SC} (RESIDENTIAL, SINGLE-FAnfLY
- SCENIC CORRIDOR OVERLAY) 20NE.
