A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING
COMMISSION APPROVING AND RECOMMENDING
APPROVAL OF TEXT TO ACCOMPANY AREA III OF
GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT NUMBER 142 RELATING
TO THE SANTA ANA CANYON AREA.
WHEREAS, on the 3th day of March, 1977, pursuant to the recom-
mendation of the Planning Commission, the City Council by Resolution No.
77R -16B adopted General Plar Amendment No. 142 including Area III thereof
which amended the Land Use Element of the General Plan relating to the Santa
Ana Canyon Area, being the area bounded generally by the Newport Freeway,
Esperanza Road /the Santa Ana River, the Orange - Riverside County line, and
the ridgeline; and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim City Planning Commission did evaluate the
text on this 25th day of April 1977 being that prepared by the Santa Ana
Canyon General Plan Task Force; and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim City Planning Commission does find and
determine that the explanatory text to accompany Area III of General Plan
Amendment Number 142, as set forth in Exhibit "A" on file with the Secretary
of the Anaheim City Planning Commission, is approved and recommended for
approval to the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Anaheim City Planning
Commission that the explanatory text to accompany Area III of General Plan
Amendment No. 142 as set forth in Exhibit "A" on file with the Secretary
of the Anaheim City Planning Commission be, and the same is hereby, approved
and recommended for approval by the City Council.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Planning Department be,
and the same is hereby instructed to incorporate said text in the Land Use
Element of the General Plan of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this
