existing and proposed highways on the Circulation Element to thc Gcncral Plan; and

study~ the Anahcin Ci[y Pianning Comenission directcd City staff to mcet with pr~perty
owners in 1leir Canyon to further study roadway align~nents for proposed extensions of
Serrano Avenuc and 1:eir Canyon Road; and

at 1:30 P.H., notice af said public hearing h;,ving been duly given as requlred by IaH
and in accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code~ to hear and
consider evidence for and agaTnst saia amendment :o the Anaheim General P1an
CirculatTon Eler.+ent and to investigate and make findings and recommendations in
con~ection therewi[h; and

that prevlously adopted Exhibit A~ as r+odified to locate 1Jeir Canyon
Road westerTy of its current proposed location a~d designating 1Jeir
Canyo~ road as a"Scenic Expressway"; locate Serrano Avenue north of
the rldgeline and cxtending it casterly to proposed Coal Lanyon Road;
and a"Scenlc Expressxay" replace "Expressway" on the legend of the Hap
with a standard six (6) lane dTvtdcd (74 feet half-wtdth) roadway
established for a Scentc Expressway.
NOW. TNEREfORE~ BE IT RESOLVED that Environmental Impact Repor[ No. 212, was
considered on March 9, 1978~ by thc Mahcim City Planning Commission~ and an
informational suppleynent to that repo~t aas s~bmitted at the Hay 8~ 1978. meeting,
and cvidencc~ both writ[en and oral, was p~esented to supplement said EIR No.212. and
che Planntn9 Conr,+issfon ~ecommended certTficatton of said report o~ March g~ 1978.
DE IT FURTHER RESOLVE~ THAT~ pursuanc to the foregoing findings. [he Anahetm
City Plannin9 CommTsslon does hereby adopt and reaorm+end to the City Councll of the
City of AnaheTm modl~ication of Generai Plan Amendment No. 146 - Circulatton Etement.

b. 7hat the designation of Neir Ca~yon Road be "Scenlc Express+ray"•
c, That Serrano Avenue be generally located north of the ridgeline
and extend easterly to proposed Coal Canyon Road.
d. That a"Scentc Expressway" designaCion replace "Exp~essway" on the
