A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
THAT PETITION FOR COMDITIONAL USE PERHIT N0. 1838 BE GRANTED
NHEREAS, the Anahelm City Planning Commission did receive a verified
Petition for Conditional Use Permit from BALL RD., INC., P. 0. Box 4265, Anaheim,
California 92803, owner, and WILLIAM A. CORN, 51G2 Princeton Avenue~ WestmTnster.
California 92863. agent. of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
That portion of Lot 27 of "Anaheim Extension" sho~rn on a Map
recorded in book 9z~ Pages 32 and 33 of Parcel Maps, records of
Orange County, California.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City
Hall in the City of Anaheim on May 22, 1978, aC 1:30 p.m., notice of said public
hearing having been duly given as required by law and in accordance with the
provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18.03, to hear and consider
evidence for and against said proposed conditional use and to investigate and make
findings and recomme~dations in connection therewith; and
NNEREAS, said Commission, after due inspeccion, investigation and study made
by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports
offered at said hearing, does find and determine the foliowing facts:
i. That the proposed use Is properly one for which a conditional use
pe~mit is authorized by Anaheim Municipal Code Sect(on 18,03.030.010 to wit: to
permit a tenting facility in an existing recreational vehicle park.
2, That the proposed use is hereby gran[ed for a one-year pcriod, subJect
to review and consideration for possible extensions of time to determine whether or
not the use has had a detrimentaS effect on the surrounding area.
3, That the proposed use will not adversety affect the ad)olning land uses
and the growth and development of the area in which it is proposed to be located
because the tent sites wlil be located in the interior of the recreational vehtcle
park.
4. That the sTze and shape of the site proposed for the use is adequa[e to
allow the full development of the proposed use in a manner not detrimental to the
particular area nor to the peace, health~ safety, and general welfare of the Citizens
of the City of Anaheim.
5. That the gran[ing of the Conditional Use Permit under the conditPons
imposed~ if any, will not ba detrlmental to the peace. health, safety and general
welfare of the Citizens of the City of Anahelm.
6. That no one tndicated their presence at said publtc heartng in
oppositton; and that no correspondence was received in opposition to the subJect
petition.

ENVIRONNENTAL IMPACT FItIDING: The Planning Director or his authorized
representat ve has eterm ned that the proposed project fails within the definition
of Categorical Exemptions, Ciasscs t and 3, as dcftned in Paragraph 2 of the City of
Anahetm Environmental Impact Report Guidelines and is, therefore, categorically
exempt from the requlrement to prepare an EIR.
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED that the Anahelm Lity Planning Canmission
does heraby grant subject Petition for Candittonal Use Permlt, upon the following
conditlons which are hereby found to be a necessary ~rer:•qutsite to the proposed use
of the subJect property in order to preserve thc safety and general welfare of the
Citizens of the City of Anaheim:
1. That appropriate water assessment fees as determined by the Dlrector of
Pubiic Utilities shali be paTd to [he CTty of Anaheim.
2, That subJect property shall be developed substantially in accordance
with plans and specifications on fite with the Lity of Anaheim marked Exhfbit No. 1.
3. That Condttion No. 1, above-mentioned, shall be complied wtth prior to
the commencement of the activity authorized under thfs resolution. or prlor to the
ttme that the building pcrmit is issued, or within a period of one year from date
hereof~ whichever occurs flrst, or such further cime as the Planning Commtsston may
grant.
4. That Condition No. 2, above-mentioned, shall be complied w(th prior to
final building and zoning inspections.
5. That the proposed use is hereby granted for a one-year perlod, subJect
to review and consideration for possible extensions of [Tme, upon written request by
the petitioner. to ~etermine whether the use has had a detrimen[al effect on the
surrounding area.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that [he Anaheim City Ptanning Commission does hereby
find and determine [hat adoption of thls Resolution is expressly predicated upon
applicant's compliance wtth each and all of the condltions herelnabove set forth.
Should any such conditton, or any part thereof, be declared invalid or unenforceable
by the finai judgment of any court of competent jurisdfctfon, t~en [his Resofution,
and any approvals herein contained~ shall be deemed null and void.
