WHEREAS, the Municipal Water District of Orange County proposes to construct
a main transmission pipeline partlally within the City of Yorba Linda and the
unincorporated areas of t~e County of Orange to provide a main transmissian facility
to deliver a treated blend of State ProJect and Colorado River rrater from the
Metropolitan Water Dis~ater OlsDrictcmtheFCityaof~Anaheim,ithe~CityrofYOrangelndEast

11HEREAS, the Government Code of the Sta[e of California, Section 65~i02
provides, in part, that a local agency such as the ~lunicipal 4laxer District of t7range
Lounty shall not acquire real property nor dispose °f auntila,[he PlocatfonW
construct a public building or struciure in any county or city
purpose and extent of such activity has been reported upon as to conformity with the
adopted general pla~ applicable thereto; and
WHEREAS, the proposed projec[ of the Municipal water District of Orange
County has been reviewed by the Anaheim City Planning Comnisslon within the context
of Section 65402 of the California Government Code;
NOW, 7HEREFORE, 8E IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission
