A RESOLUTIO~~ OF THE AMAHEIM CITY PLAt~NIt~G COMNISSION
FINDIN~ AND DETERMINING THAT THE PROPOSED ACQUISITION OF REAL
PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE SANTA ANA RIVER AND
WEST OF IMPERIAL HIGHWAY BY THE ORA~lGE COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT
IS IN CONFORMANCE WITH THE CITY OF ANAHEIN'S ADOPTED GENERAL PLAN
WHEREAS~ the Orange County Flood Control Dtstrict proposes to acqutre a
0.197 acre parcel of land located at the northwest corner of Imperial Highway and the
Santa Ana River Channel in the City of Anaheim for channel access purposes; and
WHEREAS; the Government Code of the State of California, Section 65402,
provides in part tha[ a local agency such as the flood control dlstrtct shall not
acquire real property nor dtspose of any real property, nor construct a public
building or structure 1n any county or city, unt11 the tocation, purpose and extent
of such activity has been reported upon as to conformity with the adopted general
plan applicable thereto; and
~fEREAS, the proposed parcel acquisition has been reviewed by the City of
Anaheim planning commtssion in accordance with Section 65402 of the California
Government Code.
NOW, TNEREFORE, BE IT ~ESOLVED, that the City of Anahetm planning commission
does hereby find that the proposed land acquisition is (n conformance with the city's
adopted general plan.
