HILL, P. 0. Box 3083, Anaheim, California, 92803~ agent, of certain real property situated in the Lity of Anaheim, County of Oran9e. State of California, described as: Beginning at a point on the South line of WesC Broadway which said point is 40 feet South of a point which is 132•$~ feet East of a cement monument marking the Northwest corner of Lot 1~7 of "AnaheTm Extension," as shown on a map of Survey made by William Hamel and filed for record with the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California, said point being the intersection of the South line of West Broadway with the West line of Adams Street, runntng thence South 0° 10' 00" West alon9 the 1Jest line of said Adams 5treet and the Continua[ion thereof 455.75 feet to the South ltne of the tract of land conveyed to the Anaheim Manufacturing Company by deed recorded November 12th, 1920 in book 373, pa~e 396 of Dceds; thence South !38° 57' ~d" wesi along said South line 100.4~ feet to a point on the East ltne of the right of way of the Los Alamitos Branch of the Southern Pacific Railway; thence North 0° 0~' 00" West along said East line 248.~4 feet to a point and continuing along said right of way line on a curve Northeasterly with a radlus of ?52.25 feet to an intersection on the South line of said Broadway Street; thence North 88° 55' 00" Eas[ along said South line 3~+.44 feet co the poi~t of beginning. WFIE.°.EP.S. thc C?ty Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hali In the City of Anaheim on January 4. 1978, at 1:30 p.m., noiice of satd public hearing having been duly given as required by law and in accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Chapter 16.03, to hear and consider evidence for and against said proposed conditional use and to tnvesttgate and make findings and recommendattons in connection therewith; and WNEREAS, said Commission, after due inspectlo~, investigation and study made offered'atasaidnheari ghadoesafindfand determinedthetfollowing,factsc~ce and reports 1, The proposed use is properly one for which a condiLional use permit is authorizedby Anaheim Municipal Code Section 18.61.050.340 to wit: to permtt a Ki~gsmen's Orum and Bugle Corps Administrative Office, Activity and Bingo Facility. 2, The proposed use is hereby denied on tha basis that the facility is located in close proximity to a single-family residentlal area to the west across the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks and would poten[ially create a noise, parkTng and traffic lmpact incompatible with said nearby residentlal uses; and that ihe number of available and proposed on-site parking spaces (81) would be insufficient for the proposal which would generate the need for approximately 100 spaces. Planntng Department has determined that the proposed activity alls within the definition of Sectton 3•01+ Class ~. ~f the City of Anaheim Guidellnes to the Req~irements for an Environmental Impact Report and is, therefore, categorically exempt from the requirement to file an EIR. NOW~ TNEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Plannl~g Commission does hereby deny subject Petition for Conditional Use Permit on the basis of the aforementioned findings.
