A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ADOPTING THE"COMBINED
WEST ANAHEIM AREA MASTER PLAN OF
SANITARY SEWERS SECOND REVISION MARCH 2005"
WHEREAS, the future needs of the City for expansion and capital
Improvements of its sanitary sewer system require periodic updating and amendment to
account for growth and shifting population patterns; and
WHEREAS, the existing sewer infrastructure for portions of the City is
antiquated and may be inadequate to handle existing and future capacities ex ted to be
generated by the land uses permitted on the City's General lan~ and ~

WHEREAS, changes inland uses and revised sewer design parameters make it
desirable to develop long- and short-range plans for the City's sewer system' and
WHEREAS, the most comprehensive and reliable method for study of sanit
needs required a regional approach rather than more fragmented stud areas ev' ~
utilized to deternuned future sewer r uirement• and y in iously

WHEREAS, the West Anaheim Area that is the subject of this study is
generally bounded by Euclid Street on the east, the west city limits on the west, the north
cite limits on the north, and the south city limits on the south, and encompasses areas
previously surveyed independently, including:
(1) Portions of the "Anaheim Plaza and Remaining Central City Areas" .last serve ed
in Resolution No. 94R-3b adopted by City Council on March 22 1994• y
(2) The "North Central Area" last surveyed in Resolution No. 94R-97 adopted b
City Council on June 14,1994; y
(3) The "South Brookhurst Corridor Area and Remaining Anaheim plaza Area 1"last
surveyed in Resolution No. 95R-68adopted by City Council on August 22,1995; and
(4) The Remaining Central City Area 1'~ last surveyed in Resolution No. 95R-152
adopted by City Council on August 22, ~ 995.
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable to adopt the Combined West
Anaheim Area Master Plan of Sanitary Sewers, Second Revision, dated March 2005
which is on f le and available for public access in the Office of the City Clerk:
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim as follows:
1. The City Council does hereby adopt the "Combined West Anaheim Area Master
Plan of Sanitary Sewers, Second Revision, March, 2005" to supersede previous
sanitary sewer surveys within the area included within the study area thereof.
2. Prior resolutions adopting sanitary sewer surveys or portions thereof which
outside the area surveyed by the Combined West Anaheim Area Mas a,ze
Sanitary Sewers shall remain in full force and ter Plan of
effect,
