A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM ClTY PLAPlNING COMMISSION
THAT PETITION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT N0. 1818 BE GRANTED, IN PART
HHEREAS, the Anahcim Ctty Plannl~g Commission did receive a verlfied
Petitlon for Conditional Use Permit from W. C. TAORMINA~ ET AL, 512 East Yermont
Street, Anahelm, Callfornia 92805. owners. of certain rea) property situated in the
Ltty of Anahetm, County of Orange, State of California, described as:
The Southerly 100 feet of Original City Lot 13, and the Southerly
100 feet of the Easterly 60 feet of Orlginal Building Lot 14, tn
the City of Anahetm, County of Orange, 5tate of Californta, as
shown on a map recorded in book 4 page 629 and 630, of Deeds,
records or Los Angeles County, Californta; the Northerly lTne of
said 100 feet betng paratlet with the Southerly llne of said Lots.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a publlc hearTng at tl~e City
Hall In the City of Anaheim on April 10, 1978, at 1:30 p.m., nottce of sald public
hearing having been duly given as required by ~aw and in accordance with the
provlsions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18.03, to hear and consider
evldence for and against sald proposed conditional use and to investigate and make
findings and recommendattons in connection therewith; and
HHEREAS, safd Com~ission, after due inspection. investigation and study made
by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evldence and reports
offered at sald hearin9, does ffnd and detcrmine Lhe following facts:
1, That the proposed use ts properly one for which a conditlonat use
permit is authorized by Anaheim Municlpal Code Sectlon 18.03.030.Q10 to wit: to
permit an auto detailing and storage facility with waivers of:
a. SEGTION 18.06.050.010 - Hinimum vehicular accesswa width.

Z. That the proposed use is granted subject to the foltowing stipulations
by the petittoner:
a. That ali work shali be conducted wholly inside the structure and the
hours of operation wlll be from 8:30 a,m, to 4:3U p.n.. Monday through
Friday.
b, ThaL the two driveways located along AnaheTm Boulevard shalt be closed
and replaced wlth standard curb, 9utter, and si~ewalk,
3. That the requested walvers are hereby denied on the basis that the
petitloner did not demonstrate a hardshlp and stlpulated to providing adequate
vehicular accessway width In the parking area and to provide mintmum dimenstons of
parking spaces, as requtred to meet the City of Anahetm Code requircnents.

4. That the proposed use will not adversely affect the adJoining land uses
and the growth and development of the area in which lt is proposed to be loca[ed.
5. That the slze and shape of the site proposed for the use ls adequate to
allow the full development of [he proposed use tn a manner nat detrimental to the
particular area nor to the peace, health, safety~ and general welfare of the Cttizens
of the C(ty of Anaheim.
6, That the grantfng of the Conditional Use Permit under the conditions
imposed, if any, wili not be detrimental to the peace, health, safety and general
wetfare of the Citizens of the Ctty of Anaheim.
7. That no one indicated their presence at said public hearing in
oppositlon; and that no correspondence was recetved in opposition to the subJtct
petition.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT FINDING: The Planning Director or his authorized
representat ve has determined that the proposed proJect falls within the definition
of Categorical Exemptions, Classes 1 and 11, as defined in Paragraph 2 of the City of
Anaheim Environmental Impact Report Guidelines and ts, therefore, categorically
exempt from the requirunent to prepare an EIR.
NOW~ TNEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED that tne Anaheim Ctty Planning Lamnisston
doe~ hereby grant, in part, subject Petition for Conditionai Use Permit~ upon the
following conditlons wh(ch are hereby foun~! to be a necessary prerequisite to the
proposed use of the subJect property in order to preserve the safety and general
welfare of the Citizens of the City of Anaheim:
1. That the owner(s) of subJect property shall deed to the City of Anahelm
a strip of land 40 feet in width from the cen[erline of the street along AnaheTm
Bou)evard for street widening purposes.
2. That trash storage areas shall be provided in accordance with approved
pians on fite with the Office of the Oirector of Public Works.
3. That subject property shall be develeped substan[tally in accordance
Nith plans and specifications on flle wtth the Lity of Anahelm marked Exhibit No. 1;
provided, however, that thc [wo driveways on Anahetm Boulevard shall be removed and
replaced with standard curb, gutter and stdewalk.
4. That Condltion No. 1. above-mentioned, shall be complied with prior to
the commencement of the activtty authorized under this resolution. or prior to the
time cha: the building permit is issued, or within a period of one year from date
hereof, whtchever occurs first, or such further time as the Pla~ning CommissTon maq
grant.
5. That CondTtlon Nos. 2 and 3, above-mentianed~ shall be complied atth
prior to flnal buTiding and zoning inspectiQns.
6, That all work shall be conducted wholly tnside the structure and the
hours of operaLion shali be from 8:30 a.m, to 4:30 p,m., Monday through Friday,
