RESOLUTION NO. 71R- 117
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH
THE COUNTY OF ORANGE RElATING TO. THE IMPROVE-
MENT OF BALL ROAD AND .GILBERT STREET (ORANGE
COUNTY AGREEMENT NO. .271-413).
WHEREAS, in connection with the improvement of Ball
Road and Gilbert Street, the City of Anaheim and the County of
Orange consider it in the best interests of economics and
public safety to combine the improvements in their respective
jurisdictions into one project; and
WHEREAS, the County of Orange has submitted its
Agreement No. 271-413 covering such improvement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said Agree-
ment and finds that it is in the best interest of the City to
execute the same.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Caunei1
of the City of Anaheim that the Mayor and City Clerk be and
they are hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf
of the City of Anaheim that certain Agreement relating to the
public improvement of Ball Road and Gilbert Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, upon execution, the
original and five copies thereof of said Agreement be forwarded
to the office of the City Engineer for transmittal to the
Orange County Road Department.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 23rd day of March, 1971.
