l~1HrREAS, on July 22, 1~57, Variance No. 7'i~ ~•~as ~ranted by the Planninq
Commission under Resolution PJo. 13, Series 1~157-58, to permit a sign on a
rectanguTarly-shaped parcel of land consisting of approximately 0.?1~ acre located at
the southwest corner of Crescent Avenue and Dale Avenue, having an approxtmate
frontage of 22Q feet on the snuth side of Dale Avenue and a frontage of Q5 feet on
the west side of Dale Avenue; and
4lHEREAS~ on Augu,t 11, 1~c30, the Planning Commission apnroved Conditional
Use Permit IJo. 2035 to permit expanston af an existinq private Pducattonal
institution in an exlsting residence and retain an existing recreational field on
subject property. One of the condittons of approvai of said conditional use permit
included the requirement that the prooerty owner suhmit a letter requesting
termination of Variance No. 789; and
WHEREAS, on August 13, 19£30~ Chris Husella, E3usiness Fianager, BraTlle
Institute, property owner, submitted a letter requesting termination of Variance No.
789 in conformence with conditions of appr~val of CondEtionai Use Permit tio. 2n35.
NCbI, THEREFOP,E, BE IT RESOLVED that the Artaheim City Planning Commission
does hereby terminate all proceedings of Variance Flo. 7~i~ on the basis of the
foregoing.
