PC 80-176WHEREAS, on May 21, 1979, Conditional Use Permit No. 1979 was granted by the
Planning Commission under Resolution No. PC79 -101 to permit a racquetball facility
with a waiver of required tree screen on an irregularly- shaped parcel of land
consisting of approximately 0.6 acres, having a frontage of approximately 355 feet on
the south side of La Palma Avenue, having a maximum depth of approximately 107 feet,
and being located approximately 365 feet west of the centerline of Harbor Boulevard;,
and
WHEREAS, on January 28, 1980, the Planning Commission approved
Reclassification No. 79- 80- 2under Resolution No. PC8O -23 to reclassify subject
property from the CL (Commercial, Limited) Zone to the RM -1200 (Residential,
Multiple- Family) Zone to permit constructon of three four -plex apartments on subject
property. One of the conditions of approval of said resolution included the
requirement that the property owner submit a letter requesting termination of
Conditional Use Permit No. 1979; and
WHEREAS, on September 8, 1980, Richard L. Pierce, representing Investors
Development of Orange County, Inc. submitted a letter requesting termination of
Conditional Use Permit No. 1979, in conformance with conditions of approval of
Reclassification No. 79- 80 -24.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission
does hereby terminate all proceedings of Conditional Use Permit No. 1979.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this 6th day of
