A RESOLuTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN N.mND~mNT
TO THE GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATED AS A!1END-
!.ffitlT NO. 122, EXHIBIT nC".
h~EREAS, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the recommen-
dations of the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim, adopted
a General Plan for the City of Analleim; and
~~mF~AS, on ~ugust 24, 1970 and continued to September
21, 1970 and continued to October 5, 1970, the City Planning
Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public hearing to
consider a General Plan A~endmcnt for t~e area bounded on the
west by Imperial Highway, on t~e north by Esperanza Road, on the
east by Eucalyptus Drive, and on tne south by Santa Ana Canyon
Road, changing the residential density, and at said hearing did
receive evidence and reports from ?ersons interested therein; and
rfflEREAS, following said hearing, the City Planning Com-
mission ~id duly adopt its Resolution No. PC 70-185 containing a
report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at
said hearing, a reaffirmance of its position that the Santa Ana
Can~on area should dcveloc as a low density residential communitv
and- a recommendation to tIle Citv Council of the City of Anaheim ~.

t~EREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and reco~~endations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 17th day of
November, 1970, and continued to February 16, 1971 and to February
23, 1971, as the -time and the Cit,,7 Council Ch.a.mbers in the Citv
Hall in the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing --

gi ve notice thereof in thG manner and as provided by lavi; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
?ear~ng, tile City council did duly hold and conduct such public

to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did thereupon
consider the reconwendations of the City Planning Co~~ission; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that tne Planning Department be,
and it is hereby instructed to amend the General Plan Map to conform
to General Plan A.'1lendment No. 122, Exhibit lie" herein approved.
