RESOLUTION NO. 71R-67
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ArL~HEIM CONSENTING TO THE CO~~4ENCEMENT OF
PROCEEDINGS IN CONNECTION WITH THE LINCOLN-
~ONTEREY ANNEXATION (INHABITED).
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
received a request for the annexation of the hereinafter described
territory to the City of Anaheim from 100 percent of the owners
of land within said territory stating that said territory is
inhabited and contiguous to the City of .Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the Citv of
Anaheim has reported and recommended that the City Council'"
consent to commence proceedings for the annexation of said terri-
tory to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
it would be to tha best interests of the City of Anaheim and to
the qualified electors residing within said territory to permit
the comrnencement of proceedings for the annexation of said terri-
tory to the City of Anaheim upon the conditions hereinafter set
forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the consent of the City be and it is
hereby given to commence proceedings for the annexation of the
hereinafter described property to the City of Anaheim upon the
following conditions:
First: That the proposal for annexation of said terri-
tory to t11e cITy of Anaheim shall be submi tted to the Local
Agency Formation Commission by filing a notice of intention to
annex with the Commission, containing the specific boundaries of
the territory proposed to be annexed.
Second: That because 100 oercent of the owners of
property within the territory have r~quested annexation, such
annexation shall proceed, subject to the consent of the Local
Agency Formation Commission, without hearing, notice or election.
The boundaries of the territory for which proceedings
are proposed to be commenced for the annexation thereof to the
City of Anaheim are described as follows:
That certain parcel of land located in the County of
Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the existing City limit line
of the City of Anaheim, as established by the Brookhurst-
Lincoln Annexation ?assed by Ordinance No. 1227, March
25, 1958 filed with the Secretary of State April 25,
1958, and recorded April 30, 1958, Official Records of
Orange County, California, said point of beginning
being distant from the centerline intersection of
Lincoln Avenue and Brookhurst Street, the following
courses an,:'.. distances: South 880 58' 00" W, 330 feet,
more or less, South 00 071 36ii East, 66 feet, more or

Avenue and Brookhurst Street being the northeast corner
of the Northeast quarter of Section 18, Township 4
South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. & M.~ thence
Following along the existing City limit lines of the
City of Anaheim, the following courses and distances:
South 00 071 36" East, 600 feet, more or less, to an
intersection with the soutn line of the North half of
the Northeast quarter of said Section 18; thence
South 880 58' 20n ~i, 990 feet, more or less, along a
portion of the south line of the North half of the
Northeast quarter of said Section 18 to an intersection
with the east line of the Northwest quarter of the
Northeast quarter of said Section 18; thence
North 00 07' 55;: West, 430 feet, more or less, along
a portion of the east line of the Northwest quarter of
the Northeast quarter of said Section la, to an inter-
section with the sout~ line of the land described in
Item 3 of tnc Decree of Distribution recorded July
3, 1962 in Book Gl66, pages 525 through 528, Official
Records of Orange County, California; thence
Leaving the said existing City limit line of the City
of Anaheim and following along the southerly line and
the easterly line of the land described in the last
mentioned decree, the following courses and distances:
North 880 58' AD.. East, 49 feet, North 00 07' 55" West,
170 feet, more or less, to an intersection with a line
parallel with and 66 feet southerly of the north line
of the Northeast quarter of said Section 18, said parallel
line also being the southerly right of way line of
Lincoln Avenue; thence South 880 58' DO" West, 49 feet
along said parallel line to an intersection with the
east line of the Northwest quarter of the Northeast
quarter of said Section 18, ~said point of intersection
being a point in the existing City limit line of the
City of Anaheim; thence
Following along the existing City limit line of the City
of Anaheim, the following courses and distances: North
00 071 !:iSh ~.qest, lOG feet, more or less, to an inter-
section with a line parallel with and 40 feet northerly
of the south line of the Southeast quarter of Section 7,
Township 4 South, ~ange 10 West, S.E.B. & M.; thence
North 8ao 58' con East, 504 feet, more or less, along the
last mentioned parallel line to an intersection with the

described as Parcel 3 in the deed recorded June 20, 1969
in Book 8995, page 663, Official Records of Orange County,

South 00 07' 54u East, 384 feet, more or less, leaving
the existing City of Anaheim City limit line, following
along said prolongation and west line to the southwest
corner of said land; thence

Following along the southerly line and the easterly line
of the land described in the last mentioned deed, the
fo1lo\'1ing courses and distances: North 880 58' 00" East,
292 feet, North 00 07' 54" West, 278 feet to an inter-
section with a line parallel with and 66 feet southerly
of the north line of the Northeast quarter of section 18,
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. & M., said parallel
line being the southerly right of way line of Lincoln
Avenue: thence North 880 58' 00" East, 194 feet, more or
less, along the last mentioned parallel line to the point
of beginning.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
