WHEREAS, on June 20, 1977, Variance No. 2945 o-ias granCed by the Planning
Commission permitting a waiver of maximum sign heighC Ce construct a freestanding
si~n on an irregularly-shaped parcel of land consisting of approximately 3.B acres
having a frontage of approximately 350 Peet on the east side of West Street, having
a maximum depth of approximately 530 feet and being located approximately 730 feet
north of the centerline oi Ball Road and further described as 888 South West Street;
and
WHEREAS, the applicant, Michael J. lnderson/Meyer Investment Properties,
Inc., requests termination of Variance ;do. 2945, since on tJovember 2, 1g81, the
Planning Commission approved Conditional Use Permit No. 2178 (to permit an office
building in the CR (Commercial Recreation) Zone on subject properCy. One of the
conditions of approval of sa'J conditional use permit included the requirement
that the property owner submiC a leLter requesting termination of Uariance ~Jo.
