PC 82-56RESOLUTION No. Pc82-56 A RESOLUTION OF THE A~IAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION ADOPTING AND RECGMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ADOPTlON OF ANAHEIM GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT N0. 175, EXHIBIT "A" WHEREAS, in March and May, 1g74, the Anaheim City Council approved General Plan Amendment No. 130 and the Anaheim Shores Planned Community zoning (Reclassi- fication No. 73-74-36) for an area of approximately '37 acres generally bounded on the north by the Riverside Freeway, south by La Palma Avenue and east by Euclid Avenue. Said Amendment was approved in accordance with Exhibit Nos. 1 and 2, and Revisien No. 1 of Exhibit Nos. 3, 4, 5 and 6. Exhibit No. 5 deiineated the land uses as condominiums, a mobilehome park, office park and a neighborhood commercial center. As a condition of approval, the City Council esta5lished a maximum overall density not to exceed 11.3 dwelling units per net acre of approved residential areas; and WHEREAS, during City Council deliberation of Reclassification No. 81-$2-3, Variance No. 3238, and Tentative Tract No. 11637 on January lg, 1982, a motion was approved directing ~taff to prepare a General Plan P.mendment for a land area of 17,8 acres on the westerly boundary (between Coronet and Falmouth Avenues) of the Anaheim Shores Planned Community to reflect the existing approved density of 7.02 dwelling units per gross acre; and WHEREAS, the project was covered under Environmental Impact Report No. )13 which was previously certified by the City Council in conjunction with General Plan Amendment No. 130 and Reclassification No. 73-74-36 (Anaheim Shores Planned Ccmmunity); and 4JHEREAS, the Anaheim City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at Anaheim Civic Center, Council Chamber, 200 S. Anaheim Boulevard, Anaheim, on March 22, 1g82, at 1:30 P.M., notice of said public hearing having been duly given as required by taw and in accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, to hear and consider evidence for and a,gainst said amendment to the Anaheim General Plan - Land Use Element and to investigate and make findings and recommen- dations in connection therewith; and WHEREAS, the Commission after due inspection, investigation and study made by itself at said public: hearing, DOES HEREBY FIND: 1. That Exhibit "A" retains the existing land use designation of Low- Medium Density Residential. However, subject Exhibit specifically reflects the clensity of the existing approved Tentative Tract Nos. 11347 (Revision No. 1) and 11464 which have a total number of 125 approved residential lots on 17.3 gross acres (7.02 dwelling units per gross acre) . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Environmental Impact Report iJo, 113 was certified by the City Council in conjunction with General Plan Amendment No. 130 and Reclassification No. 73-74-36 (Anaheim Shores Planned Community) and no further action is necessary. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVEO THAT, pursuant to the foregoing findings, the Anaheim City Planning Commission does hereby adopt and recommend to the Ciry Council of the City of Anaheim adoption of General Plan Amendment No. 175, as fotlows: 1• ThatExhibit "A" would restrict development on the 17.8 gross acres to a maximum of 125 dwelling units at a density of 7.02 dwelling units per gross acre, excluding public streets.
