A RESOLUTION OE THE ANAHETM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
ADOPTING AND RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
ADOPTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN
DESIGNATED AS AMENDMENT NO. 189 - EXHIBIT A
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ananeim did adopt the
Anaheim General Plan by Reso~ution No. 69R-644, showing the general
description and extent of possible future development within the City; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to a request fcom the property owner for a General
Plan Amendment study, City staff prepared a General Plan Amendment for a
square-shaped area consisting of approximately 9.4 acres having frontages on
the south side of Crescent Avenue and north side of Alameda Avenue,
approximately 680 feet west of the centerline of Muller Street; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Department deemed it appropriate, pursuant to
the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act, that there are no
significant environmental impacts and recommended that a Negative Declaration
be approved; and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim City Planning Commission did hold a public
hearinq at the Anaheim Civic Center, Council Chamber, 200 South Anaheim
Boulevard, on December 12, 1983, at 1:30 p.m., notice of said public hearing
}iaving been duly given as required by law and in accordance with the
provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, to hear and consider evidence for
and against said Amendment to the Anaheim General Plan, Land Use Element, and
to investigate and make Eindings and recommendations in connection therewith;
and
WHEREAS, said Commission, aftec due consideration, inspection,
investigation and study made by itself, and after due consideration of all
evidence and reports offered at said public hearing, DOES HEREBY FIND:
1. That no one indicated their presence in opposition to subject
petition at the public hearing; and that no correspondence was received in
apposition to subject petition.
2. The evidence was presented which substantia~es the need for an
amendment to the Anaheim General Plan, and it is deemed appropriate that
'Exhibit A" be adopted.
NOW, THEREEORE, BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to the foregoing
findings. th~ Anaheim City Planning Commis~ion does hereby adopt and recommend
to the City Council of the City of Anaheim adoption of Ge~eral Plan Amendment
No. 182 - Land Use Element Exhibit A; changing the General Plan designation
from General Industrial to Low-Medium Density Residential.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, pursuant to the foregoing findings, the
Anaheim City Planning Commission does hereby adopt and recommend to the City
Council of the City of Anaheim adoption of General Plan Amendment No. 189 -
Land Use Element, Exhibit A.
