petition for Reclassification of certain real proper.ty situated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, descr.ibed as follows:

WHEREAS, the City Planniny Commission d'_d hold a public hearing at
the Civic Center in the City of Anaheim on March 7, 1983 at 1:30 p.m., notice
of said public hearing having been duly given as required by law and in
accor3ance with the prov~sions of the Anaheim Municipal Code. Chapter 18.03,
to hear and consider evidence ior and against said proposed reclassificat?on
and to investigate at,d make findings and recommendations in connection
therewith; and

WHEREAS, said Commission, after d~ie inspection, investigation and
study made by itself and in its behalE, and -after ~ue consideration of all
evidence and reports offered at said hearing, does find and deter.mine the
following facts:
1. That the petitioner proposes reclassification of subject
property from County of Orange A1 (General, Agricultural) t~ the City of
Anaheim RS-A-43,000 (Residential, Agr~cultural) ?.one.
2. That the Anaheim General Plan designates subject property for
general itdustrial land uses.
3. That the proposed reclassification of subject property is
necessary and/or desiLable for the orderly and proper development of the
community.
4. That the proposed reclassification of subject property does
properly relate to the zones and their permitted uses locall.~ established in
close proximity to subject property and to the zonee and their permitted uses
generally established throughout the con¢nunity.
5. That no one indicated their presence at said public hearing in
opposition; and that no correspondence was received in opposition to subject
petition.
ENVIRONMENTAL IDSPACT FINDING: That the Anaheim City Planning
C•~r.nlission has reviewed the proposal to reclassify subject property from
County of Orange A1 (General, Agricultural) to the City of Anaheim iZS-A-43,000
(Residential, Aqricultural) Gone on an irregularly-shaped parcel of land
consisting of approximately 10 acres located east of the Orange (57) Freeway
and north of (and including) the Southern Pacific Railroad right-of-way; and

an environmental impact report on the ba~is that there would be no significant
individual or cumulative adverse environmental impact due to the approval of
this Negative Declaration since the Anaheim General Plan designates the
subject property for qeneral industria2 land uses commensurate with the
proposal; that no sensitive environmental impacts are involved in the
proposal; that the Initial Study submitted by the petitioner indicates no
significant individual or cumulative adverse environmental impacts; and that
the Negative Declaration substantiating the foregoing findings is on file in
the City of Anaheim Planning Department.
NOW, TliEREFORE, BE: IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning
Commission does hereby qrant subject Petition for Reclassification and, by so
doing, that Title 18-ZOning of the Anaheim Municipal Code be amended to
exclude the abave-described property from the County of Orange A1 (General,
Agricultural) and to incorporate said property into the City of Anaheim
RS-A-43,000 (Residential, Agricultural) Zone.
THE FOREGO[NG RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this 7th day of
