Anaheim Genecal Plun by Ftes~lution No. 69R-6~4, showinc~ the general
descripkion and extent of possible tut:ure ~~evelopmen: withfn the Cityj ~nd
WliEREAS, pursuant to 4 request fr~m ttie properl-y owner for a ~eneral
P1an Amendment study, City staEf prepared a General Plan Amenclment £or an
irregularly--shapeci parcel consisting of approximatel~~ 10.~ acres and i~
baunded on the northwest by the Orange E'reeway t57} right~of-way, north by
eall Road, east by Wrangler Trail, south by Z'aft Avenue ar~d we~t by Gaton Way.
WH~P.EAS, the Anahetm City Planning Commission did hold a public
hearing at the Anaheim Civic center, Council Chamber, 200 South Anaheim
Boulet~ard, on November 14, 1984, at Y:30 p.m., notice of said public heariny
haviny been du].y yiven as requiced by law and i.ii accordance with the
provisiona of the Anaheim Municipal Code, L•o hear and consider evidei~ce for
and against said Amendment to the Anaheim General Plan, Land Use and Open
Space Eler~ent and to inves~igate and make findings ~nd recommendations in
connection therewitt~; and
W[iEREAS, the City Council certified Environmental Impact Report No.
267 for the subject amendment on October 23, 1984.
WEIERF,AS, said Comniission, after ~ue cansideration, ingpectiion,
investigation and study nade by itself, and af.tec due consideratton of all
evidence and reports of~er~d at said public hearing, DOR~ HEREBY FIND:
l. 7'hat six people lndicated theic presence in opposition to
subject petitian at the pubifc hearing; and r.hat no coccespondence was
received in oppositfon to :~ubject pAl•ition.
::. That the subjecL• amEndment would be comnatLble with the existing
general industria.l designution of the surro-snding arez~.
3. The evid~nce was pres~nted which aubstantiates the need for an
amendment to the Anahei;n General Plan, and f.t is deemed ~pprooriate that
