A 1~:ESULUTIUN OF THE PLANL~IDiG COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHESp1
DELETING CONDITION NG. 5 OF RESOLUTION N0. PC68-301 ADOPTED IN
CONNECTION WITH CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT N0. 1063
51HEREAS, the Planning Comrnission of the City of Anaheim heretofore
adopted Conditional Use Permit No. 1063, Resc•lution No. PC68-3U1 on Octobet 7,
1968, approving a hall for variety shows, ler_tures, meetings, dances, etc.,
with on-saie liquor in an existing structure on an ir~egulacly-shaped parcel
of land consisting of approximately 5 acres located on the north side of
Katella Avenu? between Haster Street and !tarwhester P_venue, and further
described as 1721 South t~lanchester Avenue (The Bandstand); and
WHER~AS, Con~ition tvo. 5 as set forth in Resolution No. FC68-301
provides that said use permit shall Expire in one year or shall be subject tc
review for possible extensions af time conditioned upon the use not having ha~
an advecse effect on th? su:rounding are•s; and
WIiEREAS, the permittee has riled an application foc an extenszon of
said time limitation purs~ant to the provieions of Section 18.03.093 of L•he
Anaheim Municipal Code or for delet-ion of the aforementionec? Conditian No. 5;
and
WHEREAS, THE Plannino Comnission held a duly r.oticed public hearing
on said application or. pfarch 18, 1985, at which hearing the Planning
Commission did receive and consicier evidence, both oral and documentary,
relating ther.eto; and
WHEREAS, no one indicated their presence at saio public hearing in
opposition; and that no cocrespondence was received in opposition to subject
~~etition; and
WHEREAS, TtIE; Planning Commission hereby Pinds that said use permit
is bein9 exercised in a manner that is not detrimental to the particular a[ea
and surcou~ding land uses, nor to the public peace, health, safety and general
welf.are; and that the deletion of such time limitation is necessary to permit

City of Anaheim does hereby delete Condition No. 5 of Resolution No. PC68-301.
