A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO. 2021-122, AS AMENDED, FOR THE PURPOSE
OF CREATING, DELETING AND/OR MODIFYING
CERTAIN CLASSIFICATIONS, RATES OF
COMPENSATION, AND PAY POLICIES FOR
CLASSIFICATIONS DESIGNATED AS NON -
REPRESENTED PART-TIME AND CLARIFY
AUTHORITY FOR PUBLICATION OF
PREVIOUSLY ADOPTED PAY CHANGES
WHEREAS, Section 1.05.020.0103 of the Anaheim Municipal Code requires the
Human Resources Director to maintain and administer the position classification and
compensation plan; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2021-122, has established and modified
classifications, rates of compensation, and pay policies for Non -Represented Part -Time
classifications; and
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff report
dated February 15, 2022, that the need exists to create, delete and/or modify certain classifications,
rates of compensation, and pay policies for classifications designated as Non -Represented Part -
Time, effective the pay period beginning February 18, 2022; and
WHEREAS, such revisions require an amendment to Resolution No. 2021-122, as
amended; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that creating,
deleting and/or modifying such classifications and pay policies for classifications designated as
Non -Represented Part -Time is in the best interests of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim as follows:
SECTION 1.
1. That effective the pay period beginning February 18, 2022, Appendix F,
Non -Represented Part -Time Classifications of the Personnel Rules and Policies Covering Non -
Represented Full -Time and Part -Time Employees, is hereby amended by modifying the
classification titles and rates of compensation for the following classifications on a step structure:

2. That the minimum rates for these classifications shall be subject to
minimum wage compliance.
3. That the difference between steps for the Recreation Leader I and
Recreation Leader II classifications shall be twenty-five cents ($0.25).
4. That salary relationship for the Recreational Leader II, at the starting rate
(step 09), shall be one dollar ($1.00) above the starting rate (step 09) of the Recreational Leader I.
5. That the following classifications designated as Non -Represented Part -Time
are hereby deleted:
Classification

Senior Recreation Leader - Exempt
Volleyball Official
SECTION 2.
Except as amended herein, Resolution No. 2021-122, as amended, shall remain in
full force and effect.
SECTION 3.
The Human Resources Director shall be delegated with the authority to publish the
salary schedule authorized herein, as well as in Resolution No. 2022-010, in any format meeting
the requirements of California Code of Regulations section 570.5.
SECTION 4.
The effective date of said amendment to Resolution No. 2021-122, as amended, is February 18,
2022.
SECTION 5.
The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this Resolution.
