A RESOLUTION OF THE PIANNINd COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM REPORTING ON AND RECOMMENDING
ADOPTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE
COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL REDEVELOPMENT PRUJECT
WHEREAS, the Plenning Commission of the City of Anaheirn has formulatod and
edopted a Preliminary Plon ior the proposed Commercial/Industrlel Redevelopment Project; and
WHEREAB, the Aneheim Community Redevetopment C:ommiaslon preperecl and
submmad to the Planninfl Commlaslon a propoaed RedevelopmeM Plan for !he
Commercfal/Induatrlal Fiedevelopment Projoct; nnd
WHEFiEAS, the Anaheim Commur~:ty Redcivelopment Commission at Its regular meotfng
of riovomber 10, 1993, considered a~d approv~d the deletion of an alternative land use and
other conforming revisions to the Redevetopment Plan Mep; 3nd
WHEREAS, Section 3334E3 of the Community iiedevelopmant l.aw (Health and Satery
Codc, 8a:tlon 33000 ~t seq.) provldes that the Plenninp Commisslon is to review the proposed
Redevelopment Plan and make its report and recommendatfon thereon to the Community
qedevelopment Commission anc! the Cky Council, Includtng a detormination thet the
Redevelopment Ptan coniorms to the l3eneral Ptan ot the City ot Anaheim; erxl
WHEREAS, Section 86402 ot the Qovemment Code providea In pert:
(a) If e general plan or part thereof has been adopted, no real propertlr shall be ecqutred by
dedicat(on or otherwise tor atreot, squore, park or other public purposes, and no real propeKy
shalt be disposed ot, no streei shall bo vacated or ebandoned, ar~d no public bullding or
structure shall be conatructad or authorizod, H the adopted general ptan or paK thereof applies
thereto, untll the locatto~i, purpose and extent ot auch ecqulsitlon or diaposition, such atreAt
vacatfon ar abandonment, or such publlc bulldinp or structure have been aubmitted to antl
repoRed upon by the planning agency as to coMormRy with aald adopted generel plan or part
thoreot.

WHEREAS, th9 Planning Commission hes considered the propased Ftedevelopment
Plan, Including the Oraft Ernironmental Impact Report, and the Cieneral Plan of the City and
other pertinent repoRS and documents.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Pianning Commissfon of the City of
Anaheim, California, as followa:
1. Findin°s• The Planning Commfssion hereby finds and determines that:
(a) Pursuant to Section 33348 of the Community Redevelopment I.aw, the propoaed
Redevelopmont Ptan (or the Commerclal/Industrlal Redevelopmem ProJect (attached hereto es
Attachment No. 1), as previously submitted to this Plnnnfng Commisslon and es revlsed by the
Anuheim Cammunity Redevelopment Commission by action et fts regular meeting oi November
10, 1993, relating :o the doletion of an altemative land use and other coniorming revi~lons to the
Redevelopment Plan Map, coniorms to the Oeneral Plan of the Cfry of Anaheim.
(b) Pursuant to Sect(on 65402 of the Government Code, wfth respect to publlc
activfties which may be undortakan with(n the ProJect Area pursuant !o the Redevelopment Plen,
and that are referred to In said section, such activities and undertakinpa contorm to the Cienerel
Plan of the Cfty oi Anahelm.
2. Jje~rt and Recn~~l~ Ttie Planning Commission hereby reports tu ths
Anahelm Communiry Redavelopment Commissfon, Redeveiopment Agancy and the City Councii
of tho City of Anaheim the findinys referred to in Sectlon 1 hereof, and recommends the
approval arni adoptlon of said Redevelopment ntan as submkted by the Anahelm Communiry
Rodevelopment Commiaslon. In the avent that p~lor to Rs adoptlon oi the Redevelopment Plan,
the Cfty Council deaires to make any iurther minor, techntcal, or claHfying changes to the
Redevelopment Plan, the Plenning Commisslon hereby ifnds and determines that any such
minor, technicaf, or c~erityinfl chanpes need not be retenad to it for further repoR and
recommendatlon, and hereby weNes ks report and recommendatlon under 4ect!on 33347 of the
Communfty RedevelopmeM lt~w concemin~ any such change.
3. Transmlttel. The Planninp Cammlaalon's 3ecretery ahall trensmR a copy of this
Resolution to tho Annhelm Community R~development Commission and thR Ciry Council of the
