A RESO4UTIAN OF THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
AMENDING CERTAIN CONQITIONS OF APPROVAL OF
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT N0. 3545
WFIEREAS, on Septem~a~ 21, 1992 the Anaheim City Planning Commisslon approved
Cond(tional Use Permit No. 3447 under Resolution No. PC92•113 permitting a batting ca~s and auto
steroo/alarm installation rucility in a commercial retail aenter on property located north and oast of the
northeast corner of Csrritos Avenuo and Anahelm Boulevard and further described as 1440 South Anaheim
Boulevard (Anaheim Marketplace);
WH~REAS, said Resolutlon No. PC92•11a Includes thq following conditfon of approval:
"1. That subJect uaes shall ba granted for a perfod of one yoar to expire on September 21,
1993; provided, howover, that e~enslons of time may be sought in connection with
public hearfngs."
WHERE.4S, the petitioner has requested to amend said conditfon of approval to continue the
operation of the batting cage ~nd auto stereo/alarm installat(on tacility.

the City of P.naheim on Novamber 15, 1993, at 1:30 p.m., notice of tzaid public hoarin~ having ~oen duly
given as !aquired by IAw and In accordanca with the provisfons of the Anahelm Munici~al Gode, Chepter
18.03, to hear• and consldar evidence for and agafnst safd proposod amendment and to Investigate and
mak~ findfngs and recommendatfons In connection therowRh; and that said public hearinfl was cantinued
to tne December 1, 1993 Planning Commisslon meeting; and
WHEREAS, seld Commiss(on, after dua Inspection, investigatfon and study made by itself
and In its behalf, and afte~ due consideratfon of bll evidence and reports oNered at safd hearing, dAes tlnd
and determine the tollowing tacts:
1. That subJect use permft has been exercfsed in a manner not detrimentat to surrounding land
uses;
2. That deletion af the requested time Ilmftation is not necessary to permlt reasonable operatlon
under tho use permit as granted;
3. That a one year time extension Is heroby ~rantad to expfre on September 21, 19~4; and
4. That no ane indlcated thefr presence at said public hearlnfl in opposition; end that no
correspondonce ~vas received In opposition to the subject petition.

iinding on tiie basis of the initial study and any comments received that there is no substantlal evidence
that the pro~ect will have a aignlflcant effect on the ernironment.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission does
'iereby amend Condftlon No. 1 of Resolution No. PC92•113 to read as follows:
