A RESQLUTION OF THE ANAHEIfv1 CITY PLlrNNING
COMMISSIOPJ INITIATING PROCESSING OF
GENFRAL PIAN AMENDMENT MO. 33~ AND
SPEGIFIC PLAN NO. 92-2
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim ("City") initlated planning eHort~ in 1989 for the development
and anhancement of the area known as the Anehoim Resort (formerly referred to es the Comrneralal
Recreatfon Area), Including adoption af revisfona to the C-R Zoning Ordinance and aduption of Design
Guidelines fn 1990; and
WHEREAS, in order to provide a long range comprehensive plan for future devslupment In the
Anaheim Aesort, City staff subsequently beqen work in 1 J91 on thc~ Anaheim Resort Specific Plen end Drak
EIR; and
WHEREAS, tho Planning Cnmmisslon of the Clty oi Anaheim Is authorizod to inftiate applications
for review of general plan amendment~ and speci(ic plans and deaires to initiate Genorc~i Plan Amendmant
No. 333 and the sp~cH(c plan prncesa for the Anaheim Resort SpecNic Plan No. 92-2 to determino whether
approval oE the proposed genera! plan amendment and Anaholm Res~rt SpecHic Plan would be in the public
interest and wnuld serve the purposes of Implementing the General Plan a~xi er.ebling orddrly dovelapment

NOW, THERFFORE, the Plann(ng Commisalon of the City of Anahelm hereby resolves as
SECTION 1.
The Pianning Commission hereby initfatas appilcatlons tor Genera! Plan Amendment No. 333
and the Anahelm Ftesort Specific Plan No. 92-2 (or the purpose oi presentfng tf~e General Plan Amencimont
aixl SpecHfc Plen tor study and cansideration.
SECTION 2.
Without Ifmiting any rights the City may have under applicable law, the City reserves the right
to a~prove or deny General Plan Amendment No. 333 and tho Anaheim Resort Specific P~an No. 92-2.
