In the Flnal E~R and Addendum for all ernironmeMal tssues, the propASed project a~tions, induding Development Agreemerrt 96-0 ~, will not resutt in rsew signffi: aM Impacts or substantial ic~creases in the severity of signfficant impacts and no supplemental o+' subsequent ernironmental review is required; and that the Flnal EIR along vvith the Addendum and FAod~ied AAftfgatlon Monfto~ing Program No. 0067 are adequate to serve as the requlred ernironmenta! documentat(on for this request; snti WNEREAS, the applicant has demonstrated that ft meets the eligibpfty requirements of Section 1.3 of the Procedures Resolution to enter into the DevelopmeM AgreemoM by showing the fdlowing: That the proJect occupies at least fffty acres. The property owned or corrtrdled by the appllcaM encompasses approximately 450 acres; That, upon completlon, the proJect will result in the construct(on of at least 250,000 square feet of commercial/aHlce space. The proJect will ~esult in the construction of a total of 5,225,000 new square feet of theme park. RetaU Entertainment Center, and ad~ninistrative cffico spaco and 4,600 new hot~t rooms; arid, That the proJect will be consiructed in phases over an antlcipated period of ~ot ~ess tt~-~ 5 years. The Disneyland Resort praJect will be implemented in three phases cver a 15-yoar perio~. The flrst phase has been completed. Phase U wpl be completed in 2001 and Phase Ill is proJectecf to be completed by 2010. The Development Agreement is consistent whh the Genera! Plan of the City of Anaheim and The Disneyland Resort SpecHic Plan No. 92-1. 3. Tha Deve~opment Agreement Is compatible with the uses atdho~izod In and the regulations prescrlbed for The Disneyland Resort Spectfic Plan No. 92-1. 4. Th9 Development Agrt~ement is compatible wfth the orderly development of properry in the Disneyland Resort area surrounding The Disney~and Resurt SpecNlc Plan Mo. 92-1. 5 The Deve~npment Agrec3ment ts not otherwise detrimental to tha health, safety ar-d general welfare ot the cftiz~+ns of Anaheim. g.
