A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
TERMINATING ALL PROCEEDINGS IN CONNECTION WITH
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT N0. 1378
WHEREAS, on February 21, 1973, the Planning Commission adopted Resolution No.
PC73-41 to grant Conditionai Use Permit 1378 and permit a private educational institution in conjunction
with a 7-story hospital with waiver of minimum number of parking spaces on property located at the
northwest corner of Riverdale Avenue and Lakeview Avenue, and further described as 441 Lakeview
Avenue; and
WHEREAS, Conditional Use Permit No. 4132 (to construct a roof-mounted
telecommunications facility on an existing hospital building) was subsequently approved by tlie Planning
Commission on July 7, 1999 under Resolution No. PC99-128; and that Condition No. 4 of said resolukion
specifies that the petitioner request termination of Conditional Use Permit No. 1378; and
WHEREAS, the properry is developed with a hospital (Kaiser Permanente) and medical
office complex in the RS-A-43,000(SC), CO(SC) and CL(SC) zones (ResidentiaUAgricultural;
Commercial, Office and Professional and Commercial, Limited zones in the Scenic Corridor Zone
Overlay); and that the Anaheim General Plan designates the property far General Commercial land uses;
and
WHEREAS, Richard R. Miller, Jr., Ph.D., Land Use Manager for Kaiser Permanente, has
submitted a letter requesting termination of Conditional Use Permit No. 1378 to comply with the
conditions of approval of Conditional Use Permit No. 4132.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission
does hereby terminate all proceedings in connection with Conditional Use Permit No. 1378 on the basis
of the foregoing findings.
