A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
TERMINATING ALL PROCEEDINGS IN CONNECTION WITH
VARIANCE NO. 3541
WHEREAS, on April 22, 1986, the Anaheim Gity Counci( adopted Resolution No. 86R-159
to approve Variance No. 3541 for waivers oF minimum structurai and landscaping setback, maximum
building height, and required site screening to construct a two- and three-story office building on property
located at 7777 East Santa Ana Canyon Road; and
WHEREAS, on November 10, 1997, the Planning Commission adopted Resolution No.
PC97-161 to grant Conditional Use Permit No. 3974 and permit a 131,525 sq.ft. seif-storage facility with
waiver of permitted freestanding sign, minimum number of parking spaces, maximum structural ~etback
adjacent to a freeway and scenic expressway on the same property; and that said resolution contains the
following condition of approval:
24. That the property owner shall submit a letter requesting termination of Variance
No. 3541 (waivers of minimum structural and landscaping setback, maximum of
building height, and required site screening to construct a!wo and three-story
office building and to remove specimen trees) to the Zoning Division.
WHEREAS, Variance No. 3541 was never exercised and this property is being developed
with a self-storage facility in the CO(SC) (Commercial/Office - Scenic Corridor Overlay) zone under
authority of Conditional Use Permit No. 3974; and
WHEREAS, Craig M. Clausen, president of Madison Squares Anaheim Hills, LLC,
property owner, has submitted a letter requesting termination of Variance No. 3541.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Ariaheim City Planning Commission
does hereby terminate all proceedings in connection with Variance No~ 3541 on the basis of the foregoing
