RESOLUTION NO. 71R- 247
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE. CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF THE PUR-
CHASE, FABRI.CATION AND DELIVERY OF 29. TRAFFIC
SIGNAL CONTROLLERS.
WHEREAS, the. Ci ty Council of the City of Anahe.im has
heretofore let, by its Resolution No. 70R-l29 dated March .10, 1970,
a contract to Fischer and Porter Company, after following all of
the requirements for competitive bidding for furnishing the 'follow-
ing:
Purchase, fabrication and delivery of 29 traffic
signal controllers 'for various intersections in
the. City of Anaheim;
and
WHEREAS, said Fischer and Porter Company has performed
all work and services required pursuant to the.ir bid, the Resolu-
tion awarding the contract and the contract, as 'required by the
Ci ty of Anaheim as of the 27th day of May, 1971; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that said contractor
has completed said public improvement hereinabove more particu-
larly described in accordance with the. provisions of the contract
and contract documents, and that Notice of Completion should be
filed and payment of the balance due said contractor authorized
in accordance with the contract documents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that said completed public improvement and
service be and ene same is hereby accepted, subject,' nevertheless,
to all the terms, conditions and provisions of the contract docu-
ments, and that the balance due said contractor for said work be
paid in thirty-five (35) days from and after final acceptance of
said materials and services as evidenced by the adoption of this
resolution.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk of the City of Anaheim be and they are he.reby authorized
to execute and file a Notice of Completion of said work as required
by law.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 8th day of June, 1971.
