RESOLUTION NO. 7lR-218
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE. CITY
OF ANAHEIM GRANTING VARIANCE NO. 2248.
WHEREAS, after a request for variance by MESSRS. OGATA
and WEBER, OWNERS; LEONARD SMITH, AGENT, was received, a public
hearing before the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim was
held upon due and proper notice as a result of which Variance No.
2248 was granted in whole or in part, covering the following
described property:
Parcell.
The West 132.00 feet of the East 396.00 feet of tne
Northwes.t quarte.r of the Northeast quarter of the
Northeast quarter of Section 24, Township 4 South,.
Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, City of
Ananeim, County of Orange, State of California, as
per Map recorded in Book 51, page 11 of Miscellaneous
Maps, in the Office of the County Recorder of said
County.
Parcel 2.
The West 132.00 feet of the East 264.00 .feet of the
Northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of the
Northeast quarter of Section 24., Township 4 South,
Range 11 West, in tne Rancho Los Coyotes, C~ty of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as
per Map recorded in Book 51, page 11 of Miscellaneous
Maps, in the Office of the County Recorder of said
County.
WHEREAS, thereafter, wi thin the time prescribed by law
an intex.ested party or the City Council on its own motion caused
the review of said Planning Commission action at a public hearing
noticed and held as prescribed by law and as a result th.ereof the
City Council does hereby make the following findings:
1. That there are special circumstances. applicable to
the property, inCluding size, shape, topography,
location or surroundings, which do not apply to
other property under identical zoning classifica-
tion in the vicinity.
2. That, because of specia~ circumstances shown in
(1) above, strict application of the zoning code
dep.rives the property of privileges 'enjoyed by
other property under identical zoning classifica-
tion in the vicinity.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by. the City Council of
the City of Anaheim, that said variance be granted subj.ect to the
following conditions:
1. That this variance is granted subj..ect to the comple-
tion of Reclassification No. 70-71-44, now pending.
2. That subject property shall be dev.eloped subs.tantially
in accordance with plans and specifications on file
wi th the City of Anaheim, marked Exh'ibi t Nos. 1, 2, 3,
4 and 5.

3. That Condition NO.2, above mentioned, shall be com-
plied with prior to final building and zoning inspec-
tions.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City C.ouncil hereby
reserves the right to revoke such variance permit for good
cause or failure of said owners, th.e.ir hei.rs, success.ora or
assigns to. comply with the Anaheim Municipal Code and regula-
tions and tne conditions herein. Said variance is granted
for the term prescribed by the Anaheim Municipal Code unless
otherwise specified herein.
